4. In this first phase, Habitat aims to reach 37,500 people in the most vulnerable communities by:
Distributing water backpacks
Building new, or mending broken, water points
Promoting locally available methods of water purification
Facilitating hygiene and sanitation training

5. Since 1993, Habitat Ethiopia has served the most vulnerable; challenging stigma, building simple homes and improving access to water and sanitation.

Psalm 23 reminds us that God is close even as we walk through the darkest valley.
Pray for families in dire need of safe water; stay close and protect them, especially as they trek long distances
Give wisdom and courage to Habitat staff, and all agencies, as they work to alleviate suffering
Pray that each one of us will have a thirst for peace and justice, and a willingness to do whatever we can for our brothers and sisters in need
