2 Why is high school such a big deal??
High School is preparing you for the real world. Habits you develop in high school tend to predict your work habits. We are here to help you achieve your goal!

3 How is high school like a career ?
Although you don’t get paid, high school is your job for 4 years! What would happen at your job if you missed a lot of work? What would happen at your job if you didn’t complete a project? What would happen at your job if you got in a fight? What would happen at your job if you had perfect attendance? What would happen at your job if you did an outstanding job on a project?

4 Who do you want to hire or admit to college?

8 Indiana Core 40 with Academic Honors
Same as Core 40 plus: 2 Additional math credits 6-8 world language credits 2 fine arts credits All grades must be a C- or better GPA must be a B- or better Must also complete 1 of the following Complete AP courses 4 credits and AP exams Earn 1200 on SAT (CR+M) Score 26 on ACT Complete 6 dual credits Complete combination of AP courses and dual credits.

9 Indiana Core 40 with Technical Honors
Same as Core 40 plus: Complete a career/technical program (8 credits) Earn a C- or better in courses Have a GPA of B- or better Must also: Score levels on work keys Complete dual credits (6) Complete a professional internship course or ICE Complete an industry-based work experience Earn a state approved industry recognized certification.
