HE wanted a true independent Cuba, with no influences from outsiders. Including the US. He started to destroy and remove any political opponents. He becomes a dictator himself. Cuban Revolution – Fidel Castro, communist revolutionary overthrew Batista regime and became the leader of Cuba.

Bay of Pigs Invasion US sponsored rebels invaded Cuba to overthrow Fidel Castro from ruling Cuba. Unsuccessful attempt – embarrassment to the Presidency – John F. Kennedy (JFK) Castro was afraid of another invasion – agreement with USSR, to allow Soviet Missiles in Cuba.
