Chino Valley USD History
Founded in 1860 Covers 88 square miles Serves three cities, Chino, Chino Hills and South Ontario Current enrollment of 27,750 (down from a high of 33,616 in 2005/2006) Currently experiencing heavy residential growth in south/southeast Chino bordering Ontario and Eastvale

2002 Measure M General Obligation Bond
Passed after two failed attempts in the late 1990s. $150,000, in bond funds $180,000, from other sources (state & county funds, Deferred Maintenance, RMA, etc.) Built 4 new elementary schools and 1 junior high school Modernized 12 elementary schools, 3 junior highs, 3 high schools Renovated, upgraded and completed athletic facilities at 4 high schools

Passage of Proposition 51 & CVUSD’s 2016 Measure G, $750,000,000
Passage of Proposition 51 & CVUSD’s Measure G, $750,000, General Obligation Bond Will fund the land purchase and allow construction of a new K-8 developer built school Rebuild 65 year old Chino High School Construct one new elementary school Modernize schools that currently qualify or will qualify within the next two 2 years Improvements, elimination of portables and new ancillary facilities throughout the District Augment Measure G with $74.5M in State Modernization Funding
