Business Services Review – Why?
Hunter Review Report – “A range of business services activities have been distributed through the Department and there is scope to review these arrangements to determine the most efficient and effective model of service delivery. This would be a priority project for the newly created Division” (ie Corporate Services Division)
3
Scope of project Consistent FTE profiles for business support services across Divisions and/or business units – not about re-sizing business service functions, but re-allocating them to ensure that all Divisions/business units within our new structure have adequate professional business services staff to support them
4
Business Services staff – Who?
In short, business services staff are those officers providing correspondence, general administration, HR and finance support within Divisions/branches Does not include ESOs Does not include administrative officers providing specialist support to particular business units (for example, Admin Officers supporting licensing functions)
