2. Main Features
The Enlightenment influenced various leaders across Europe. In a number of regions in Central and Eastern Europe numerous reforms were implemented with varying results including:
Reforming the legal system
Increasing religious toleration
Professionalizing the government
Modernizing the economy and various economic reforms tax reforms
Increasing support for education and scientific endeavors
Expanding support for cultural institutions and the arts
Key regions involved: Austria, Prussia and Russia
The reforms were not always successful, and were not always embraced

3. Your Mission:
First, work on the Absolutists chart. INCLUDE DETAILS, not just vague comments from some lame online Prezi presentation you found
Next, as a class we will discuss parts of this chart during the week (Tuesday and Wednesday)
On Wednesday I will be explaining an SAQ that goes with this chart and Enlightened Absolutism. You will have time in class to work on this and should be able to complete it before break.
