There are another 14 states – AK, AZ, CO, ID, IN, LA, MT, NE, NV, ND, OR, SD, WA, WV – that are approved under the National Reciprocity agreement.
The remaining 35, plus DC, are the states at issue. Some of these red states will be easy to turn green. Some will be more difficult. And, it’s at this point where we start to have separate maps – one for Practica, and one for Distance Ed, because the red states will often regulate them differently. HI

* CA currently has no regulatory agency that oversees or authorizes distance education in public non-profit institutions. Applicants should be notified that, depending on the regulatory environment, they may not be able to complete their program of study in a timely fashion (or at all). Provost’s office will decide on case by case basis.
