To understand the events at the middle of Part 3.
To understand and use the features of a newspaper effectively to inform an audience about events in the novel so far.

In the next few chapters we are going to come across a short poem that Tulip has written.
Write a short poem about the novel so far OR about Tulip.
It doesn’t have to rhyme, as long as it flows and has rhythm.

Write a newspaper article which informs your readers of some of the tragic incidents you have read about based on Tulip’s actions.
I must see a HEADLINE, an IMAGE with a CAPTION and your article set out in COLUMNS for top marks.
Be prepared to share in twenty five minutes 

While you listen to your peers have a think about what you might be able to include in your own articles.
Also think about what you can improve about your own work based on the work provided by the rest of the class.
