1 Welcome to Science (9/29) You may sit wherever you would like but please do not move the chairs around and take out the following: Your Investigating Cell Specialization Lab and a Red Writing Utensil (up front if you need) Your Organisms and Cells Notes Today’s Objective: Continue to look at the structure and function of cells of multicellular organisms to see how they help the organism survive and watch Bill Nye “Cells”. Due Dates: None

2 Order of Activities Read Pages Add information into the boxes of your Organisms and Cells Notes as appropriate. Use the Information Cards to finish your Investigating Cell Specialization Lab. Watch the Cell Specialization BrainPOP Video. Use other resources to find more information about cells and organisms: -BrainPOP Videos Listed on Notes -PowerPoints on Website (Cell Specialization) -Videos on the School’s Network (Cell Theory Cartoon, Bill Nye “Cells”) -Look at the Extra Slides Under a Microscope
