Thank you for (looking). Thanks for (trying). It doesn’t matter. Thanks. Never mind. Thanks. You’re welcome. (US) Not at all. (formal, UK) Don’t mention it. (It’s) my pleasure. It was nothing. That’s alright/OK. No problem. Any time.

John: Red one below your table. Bryan: Let me take it first. Oh, It has a name ‘Sheila’ on this pen. Sheila: Really? Oh, it’s mine. Thanks for taking it. Mary: Great, you always forget your stuffs. John: May I borrow it? I have no pen. Sheila: Sure, you can use it. John: Nice, thanks a lot. Sheila: Don’t mention it.

Complimenting It is the type of gratitude that is expressed after a “favor” is done. Usually the compliment has two (2) parts: Oh, that´s great. (1) Thanks a lot.(2) You´re wonderful. (1) Thank you.(2) Thanks a bunch.(1) You´re a life saver.(2)

Expressing Delight Gratitude that also expresses pleasant surprise:

Expressing Lack of Necessity
After a considerate act: Oh, thank you very much. You shouldn´t have! That´s very sweet of you. You didn´t have to do that.
