1. Identification of catchments area for Apna bazaar in terms of: a. consumers’ demand b. Production of fruits, vegetables and flowers nearby areas of Lucknow city 2. Understanding the features of consumers’ demand for perishable and non-perishable food products 3. Nature of existing business undertaken by traders for different food products. 4. Cropping pattern and marketing behavior of farmers for perishable and non-perishable agricultural commodities in and around Lucknow.

Stakeholder analysis to know the perception of these stakeholders about Apna Bazar and their preferences for successful operationalization of the Apna Bazar. 7. An estimate of revenue and expenditure to KUMP from Apna Bazar 8. An estimate of additional budget requirement to undertake civil and structural modification in the existing market structure.
