Hub and spoke model. Joint activity with NeCTAR and number of eResearch nodes. One talk/month. Topics decided by community. Attendance from 50 to 150 depending on topics. Steve Androulakis now leading!

11 Some initial thoughts A small amount of support can go a long way if the community is motivated Can sometimes be difficult to sit back and let the community lead Much better to involve the community in the planning rather than build it and hope they come Valid role for national organisation to provide national enabling infrastructure It’s all great, but how does one scale it?
