2. Science Lab Safety
Always follow these safety precautions when working in laboratory areas
Come prepared for the lab with appropriate pre-lab work completed
Respect and use all lab equipment with caution.
Do not touch anything unless instructed to do so.

3. Science Lab Safety cont.
When handling equipment, use as directed.
Absolutely no food, drink, or gum.
No horseplay will be tolerated and can result in dismissal from lab with zero or partial credit.
Never leave lab station unattended.

Eye Wash Station
Emergency Chemical Shower
First Aide
Fire Blanket
Fire Pull
Emergency Shut Off Switch

5. Lab Safety Worksheet Complete the Lab Safety Worksheet
Write all answers in your science notebook.
When you finish show Ms. Braget your answers.

6. Creating the lab safety quiz
Get together with the students at your table.
Discuss a question that you think should be on the lab safety quiz
Write a question that is relevant to the material and will challenge the other students to learn the science lab safety rules
Write down your tables question on the provided notecard and each persons name.
