m, kg, and s are the BIG THREE!

3. EVIL PREFIXES You need to know how to convert units with prefixes.
Only the basics:
100 km = _______m I mg = ________kg
454 mg = ______kg cm = ________m
2 days = _______s km/hr = _______m/s

4. DERIVED UNITS Units that are derived from the base units. Ex. Force
F=ma
m=mass (kg)
a=acceleration (m/s/s)
So….the unit for force is kg*m/s/s
Nobody wants to say that so we derive a unit called a Newton (N)
