2. Interior Design of Design Consultancy Office
Work environment is important for every person as they spend most of their day in office.
The catch of office space interiors is its functionality and aesthetics.
The office environment should be both employee friendly and customer friendly.
It should be a perfect balance of space planning, material usage, colors and décor to express the right mood to the space.

3. The major elements of office space design are:
Comfort - adjustable work stations, quality environment etc.
Efficiency – proximity of work teams and equipments.
Communication –efficiency of internal and external communication.
Productivity –logical work flow

4. INTERIORS FOR CREATIVITY is a project to design
eco-interiors for a Design Consulting Firm with four major departments:
Architectural Design
Interior Design
Graphic Design
Structural Design.
The office is in two storeys with an area of __________ square meter on each floor.

Architectural Section: 1 chief Architect, 4 senior architects and 8 draftsmen.
Structural Design Section: 1 chief engineer, 3 engineers and 6 draftsmen.
Interior design Section: 1 chief designer, 2 designers and 4 draftsmen.
Graphics design section: 1 chief designer, 4 designers.
Other requirements: 1board room, 2 meeting rooms, 1 audio visual room, pantry, waiting area, display/exhibition area, library, archive, toilets.

6. Evaluation:
Initial Research – office space planning, data standards, indoor landscaping, case studies and site analysis. Presentation on (Saturday, October 8, 2011)
Schematic Design – concept design, mood board, work flow analysis and block diagramming. (Saturday, October 24, 2011)
Final design – detail plan with furniture layout, sections, elevations (in AutoCAD), sample board and 3d views/model. (Saturday, November 26, 2011)
