Used for drinking, cooking, public baths, and irrigation of the fields Men would discuss business, current events, and gossip in the public baths

A practical art Roman art and architecture was influenced by ancient Greece Artists and craftsmen made jewelry, coins, and mosaics Adopted styles from conquered territories Roman architecture is still influencing our buildings today
