2 PRONOUNS PERSONAL: SUBJECT, OBJECT, POSSESSIVE REFLEXIVE/INTENSIVE
INTEROGATIVE DEMONSTRATIVE INDEFINITE

3 PERSONAL PRONOUNS SUBJECT: beginning of sentence. Used as a subject or predicate pronoun. subject ex: You are going to the play. predicate pronoun ex: The royal jewelers are they.

4 PERSONAL PRONOUNS OBJECT: end of sentence. Used as direct object, indirect object, object of preposition. direct object ex: The mysterious death of king Tut fascinates me. indirect object ex: Charles lent me a video. object of preposition ex: The secret is between you and me.

5 PERSONAL PRONOUNS POSSESSIVE: Used to show ownership.
Some come before nouns, some come after before noun ex: His book looks worn out. after verb ex: The secret is ours.

6 REFLEXIVE/INTENSIVE REFLEXIVE: Refers back to subject. Reflects on the subject. At the end/predicate ex: She tied her shoe all by herself Intensive: Emphasizes a noun or pronoun. After the subject ex: I myself like to perform magic tricks. All have word self

7 INTERROGATIVE What,which,whose, who/whom Used to introduce a question.
Who is used as subject and object ex: Who knows the answer? Your favorite teacher is who? Whom is used as object only ex: Whom did you tell? DO To whom did you give my name? Ob. Of Prep. You gave whom the answer?IO What,which,whose, who/whom

8 RELATIVE PRONOUNS Interrogative pronouns that relate back to the subject. ex: The sky filled with an eerie glow, which was a fire.

9 Demonstrative Points out a specific person place or thing
This is the game we made. That is the spinner. These are the rules. Those are the playing pieces.

10 Indefinite Pronouns Not a specific thing or number
Ex: Something is going on. Ex: Everyone is going on the trip.
