1 SUNDAY 29th April 2018 Kitchen Table Project – Inspiring Faith in our Children A small group of us are meeting on 10th May to start looking at how we can build faith in our children at home. It should be a relaxed and fun evening of sharing ideas and experiences, using the Kitchen Table Project Inspire session from Care for the Family.You are very welcome to join us. We are meeting at 7.45pm at the Dey’s house (79 Harehills Lane). Please let Helen or Hannah know if you want to join us. The Uncontrolling Love of God Conversation After Tom Oord's visit to Chapel A, a few folk said they would like to chat through Tom's brain-melting ideas. If that's you, there will be an opportunity to get together to discuss the things that Tom raised on Thursday May 3rd. We'll be at The Mustard Pot at 8pm, so come and join us! Women's Away Day 'Taking Time Together' Rachel Muers will be spending the day with us on Saturday 19th May at Westwood Centre in Huddersfield. A relaxed time to hear some inspired thoughts, have lunch and enjoy some space away! £10 for the day, 10 am until 4pm. Please contact Clare to book your place, We always want to care & look out for each other as a community, but please remember that except for when they are in their designated groups, all children & young people remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times. After the break we will be continuing our series on the book of Acts with Mark Prothero speaking to us on Acts chapter 4. Welcome to Chapel A THIS COMING WEEK Tuesdays at 11am in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and whoever would like to pray for Chapel A. Housegroups generally meet on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please see notice board in corridor. Tuesdays - Totally Tuesday for Years 5-7, pm in Chapel All. Methodist Hall. Wednesday – WOW youth group for Years 8+ in Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall. Please contact Hannah Dey on or about any of our usual groups for young people. Friday Gathering The next two planned dates are the 11th May and Friday 8th June 2018, 8-10 pm, at 43 Jackson Avenue (Rick and Joy's home). We promise to have more chairs to sit on, borrowed from neighbours! Then we will take a break over the summer & start again in the Autumn. We will be worshiping, praying and listening to God.
