A Note from the Teacher
Week of 9/26 – 9/30
Next week will be our school-wide College Go Week. We will be dressing up each day to celebrate while we learn about colleges and career choices.
Monday, Sept. 26: "Studied All Night" -Come to school as if you were up all night studying.
Tuesday, Sept. 27: "College "RED“ i-ness Day"-Wear something red.
Wednesday, Sept. 28: "Dress for Success"-Wear something for a career of choice.
Thursday, Sept. 29: "Where are you HEADed?"-Hat day
Friday, Sept. 30: "College Spirit Day"-Wear college attire (or the colors of the school).

There will be NO Spelling words this week since it is a Unit Review week.

Just a reminder that students must reach the 3rd grade Reading Counts goal of 6 points per month in order to take the annual trip to Piggies ‘n Cream with Mrs. Cincoski
Don’t forget to collect and send in Box Tops!
Addie Phegley earned a Kudo for showing citizenship in the lunch room. She pushed in all the chairs for students who forgot. Great job Addie!
What’s Happening in...
Reading & Language Arts: We will reviewing the Unit 1 comprehension and vocabulary skills and strategies, as well as Grammar skills for our Unit 1 Test.
Math: We will continue to work multiplication and problem solving strategies. We will take the Multiplication Test on Friday.
Social Studies: We will be switching to Science.
Science: We will learn the scientific practices used by scientists.
