1. Directions for Odyssey Test Builder
Test builder helps the teacher create a test for the students that then assigns them individualized work for their different curriculum needs. The STAAR objectives have been added for 3-5th grade LA and Math.

For 3-5th grade teachers

2. 1. Click on the Assessment tab.
2. Click on the Test Builder button.
3. Select STAAR from the standards drop down menu and select the subject and grade. Then click on the NEXT button.

3. 4. Check about three or four objectives
4. Check about three or four objectives. The more you select the longer the test and you do not want to overwhelm the students. When done, Click on NEXT.
5. On this screen you can look at the questions. If you want to remove some of the objectives go BACK. If you are satisfied with your test go to NEXT.

6. On this screen you can choose testing options. You need to give the test a unique name and you can enter directions for students.
Multiple Sessions- Do you want the students to have more than one login time to work on this test?
Allow Early Turn In- Do you want them to be able to submit without doing all problems?
Mastery Score- What do you want the passing score to be?
Build Learning Path- YES, this will build lessons for them to work on after they take the test.
Navigation allowed- DO you want them to be able to go back through the test?
Randomize Items- You Probably do want students beside each other working on different problems at the same time.
Minutes allowed- leave on zero for a nontimed test.

5. 7. Review and SAVE.
8. Now this is part of an assignment. You can add more lessons or you can name the assignment and COMPLETE ASSIGNMENT.
9. Now complete the options by selecting the subject and grade. You can choose to assign to students now. Then click on NEXT.

6. 10. Now select which students or classes you want to assign this to and FINISH.
Congratulations! You just created a differentiated assignment for your students to review for the STAAR test. If you want to make another test with different objectives just start at the beginning again! You can do this!
