Private ownership of the means of production, meaning private businesses and companies create and sell goods
Profit, meaning goods are created and sold in order to make money
Competition, meaning that when different companies all make the same product, the competition between the companies will create better products and cheaper prices
Free market, meaning the government makes no rules controlling what businesses can do
