3. How does NC History affect you?
It is a class I have to take where I have to memorize a lot of dates and then forget them.
It is forced upon me by older persons who wish to relive their pasts.

1. Remember yesterday.
You have a story, and you come from many years and many miles away. All of you have ancestors who lived through the events we discuss.

8. You are what you are because of who came before you!
The Past

Ex.) Slavery (African Americans; Europeansspirited away and sold into bondage)

You are living through history, and what is happening causes you to make opinions and decisions.

10. 3. Dream for tomorrow.
The journey through your future will seem easier when you see and understand your past.
