Abigail: But we never conjured spirits
Pairs: then why can she not move herself since midnight?
Pairs seems to think that just because the girls were dancing, they had to have also conjured spirits and done other forms of witchcraft.

ANN: I knew it! Groody Osburn were midwife to me three times. I begged you, Thomas, did I not? I begged him not to call Osburn because I feared her, my babies always shriveled in her hands…
Ann Putnum thinks that just because Groody was the midwife when 3 of her 7 childern dided, she must have also been the cause of not only there deaths but those of her 4 childern.
