Funding EU funds € 2 million to develop the cooperation between the partners Partners provide funding for joint calls Funds for joint calls from each partner are allocated to researchers from own country For first joint call 4 million Euro 16/01/2019

Why an EraNet on illicit drugs?
To develop a long-term approach in drug research, both demand & supply To stimulate international collaboration in drug research and in policy development Drug research is often a “national”issue while drug problems are often international (including drug related crime) 16/01/2019

Data has been gathered on drug research and Information on national strategies and policies Stakeholders have been consulted on a national and international level The Strategic Research Agenda has been written 16/01/2019

Launching of the first joint call September 2015
Results Januari 2015 The European Commission gave its approval on the Strategic Research Agenda Writing of the first joint call 2015 with topic ‘understanding drug use pathways’ Expansion of the participants/funders in the first call: Sweden, Germany and Poland Launching of the first joint call September 2015 Start of a social community? 16/01/2019
