PREPARING FOR A BLIZZARD

Before a blizzard you should have a first aid kit incase someone gets hurt. You should also have a blanket to keep warm. You should keep a flashlight and battery operated radio so you can hear the weather station. Keep a shovel so you can shovel yourself out of your house. You should keep water and long lasting snacks and keep warm wool clothing on and also mittens because they are warmer than gloves. Save and clean six two liter bottles or a large container for each family member to drink water out of. You should wear something to cover your face like a face mask so you don’t get hypothermia or frost bite.

During a blizzard you should stay inside and listen to the radio
During a blizzard you should stay inside and listen to the radio. You should also keep a warm blanket close so your body can stay warm. You should have warm clothes on and you could also put on the fire place to stay warm. You should be wearing boots and have a flashlight that has batteries in it so you can use it. If you can you should keep the heat on inside your house. You should have your phone all charged.

When your outside in a blizzard you should have kitty liter to melt the snow and you should have a bright colored cloth so people can see you in the blizzard When you are in your car keep your engine running for ten minutes and keep your blood moving by clapping and stomping. When your outside get a long rope and tie yourself to your house so you don’t get lost in the blizzard. .
