Members are APPOINTED by the GOVENOR GENERAL on the advice of the PRIME MINISTER Must reside in the province/ territory for which they were appointed Purpose of the senate is to Consider and revise legislation (Laws) Investigate national issues Give the regions of Canada an equal voice in Parliament
