2. Why ISO 9001:2000? Internal effectiveness and productivity benefits
Organizations implement an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) because it has proven over the years that it leads to better operations, improved performance, and improved profitability.

3. Why ISO 9001:2000? Market Pressure
Organizations implement ISO 9001 because it assures customers that there is a good Quality Management System (QMS) in place. Such organizations typically meet customer expectations better than an organization that does not have an effective QMS.

4. How did we get here? Set a goal for the Division in Summer of 2004
Established a Steering Committee, led by Beckie Beard
Communicated throughout the Division and learned from our peers
Provided Training
19 individuals received internal auditor training, conducted reviews of every department

5. Administrative Services Division Quality Policy
The Administrative Services Division is committed to fulfilling the requirements of our Quality Management System so that we will provide quality service with a friendly attitude to improve and enhance the college community.

6. ASD Quality Policy (cont’d)
We will consistently provide products and services that meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers. We do this by seeking out customer feedback and by applying continual improvement principles to our processes. We will actively pursue improving quality through employee learning that enables each employee to do their job right the first time and every time.

7. In August 2005, all departments within Administrative Services Division met international standards required for quality management systems.
