Members Only Fun Day
Sunday 19th August Sparsholt College
Show jumping training from 10am
Julia Knight-Jones training for juniors and adults, £15 pp - Individual lesson for 20 min You must come into the lesson already warmed up and jump your course (any height) with Julia watching to see what improvements you need, and then have a 15 min lesson with her over the course.
Test riding / private lesson with Beth Bainbridge from 10 am
This will run alongside the other classes and the cost will be £30 for 30 min.
For test riding: You will ride a test of your choice. Beth will mark it. You then have a debrief of 15 – 20 min depending on the chosen test. She will explain how you can improve your ringcraft, riding skills and horse’s way of going to gain those extra marks. You ride the test again, Beth marks it again and hopefully your marks will improve.

There are a total of 7 obstacles which are:
Going through a zig zag (At walk, max points 3)
Hanging the washing up (At walk, max points are 3)
Teddy bear in a box (At walk, 1 point; trot, 2 points; canter 3 points)
Going through the tunnel (At walk, 1 point; trot, 2 points; canter 3 points)
Bending polls (At walk, 1 point; trot, 2 points; canter 3 points)
Mini jump Bending polls (At trot, 2 points; canter 3 points)
Eat the donut WITHOUT licking your lips (5 points if you don’t like them!)
If you would like a helper or to be led in the class that is absolutely fine, just write a note on your entry form.
Entry fee is £6 per round and you can enter as many times as you like.
