1. Accessing Medline filters using NLH Search 2.0

2. From the National Library for Health website www.library.nhs.uk

3. Log in and go to “Books Journals and healthcare databases”

4. Then select “Databases Advanced Search”

6. Type in the Search Term (note Thesaurus Mapping is on)

8. Type in your next search term (Thesaurus Mapping is still on but the steps are not shown)

9. Combine selected searches with “and”

10. Adding limits – for both “Publication types” and age groups in one step.
The Search History table is also showing a previous stage with an Age Group limit only, so we need to type in “1 AND 2” to ensure it limits the correct step.
