Chemical- bile and trypsin are added Most digestion happens here Digested nutrients are absorbed into the blood through capillaries and sent to all cells

Large intestine No digestion happens here Water is absorbed back into the body through the capillaries

Bile Made in the liver Stored in the gallbladder Sent to the small intestine Digests fats

Trypsin Made in the pancreas Sent to the small intestine Digests proteins
