Project Overview Autonomous Wheeled Vehicle
Navigate, track, and follow targets Wirless communication to enter waypoints Atom board with Wi-Fi Use GPS to navigate and determine current location Avoid obstacles using a sonic range finder Improved precision movements Wheel encoders, compass, accelerometer, ‘dead reckoning’ Webcam feature Used to focus on targets In absence of GPS, users will click a target that the robot will navigate to

Project Specific Success Criteria
An ability to successfully read and parse GPS data to determine location. An ability to control motors for movement. An ability to visually track and follow a target via webcam. An ability to detect obstacles with sonic range finder. An ability to determine changes in position using wheel encoders, accelerometers, and a compass.
