2 AGRICULTURE The pueblo people depended on agriculture to live their daily life. Their most important crops were corn, beans, and squash. The Pueblos called it the three sisters. Along with that they hunted rabbits and dear. These crops helped them survive because the three crops were a form of protein. Water was their most important source because during the hot climates this is how the plants and people survived. The Pueblos planted in the canyons which blocked sunlight for the crops.

3 HISTORY Pueblo was built between 800 and 200 B.C.
Pueblo was considered the oldest city in Mexico. When they were building they built what is known as the built pyramid of Cholula. It is known as one of the largest pyramids in the world that stands 55 meters tall. The pyramid was abandoned around 800 A.D. for unknown reasons.

4 SHELTER The Pueblos shelters were craved into natural and or cliffs.
They began to build their homes out of sand and next to rivers. Pueblos also means villages or towns in Spanish. Pueblo used a layer of clay, mud, white, yellow, reddish brown to bring color to their homes. In spaces where trees and long grasses grew. They used logs to support the roofs. They built thick outer walls with poles placed on top.

5 GEOGRAPHY Pueblo is the 5th largest city in Colorado.
Its located in a farming, ranching and coal mining area. The city is headquarters for a national forest and resort center. The city was founded in 1859 by a group of prospectors. It became the city of Pueblo in The city was damaged by an Arkansas river flow in 1921.

6 ARMY/ WEAPONS The Pueblo army is one of the nine army’s that stores chemical weapons. Since 1942 the missions have expanded to ensure the safe of the chemical weapon stock pile. The safety workers are responsible for the U.S army chemical materials. Some of the weapons/tools of the Pueblo Indians were bows, arrows, spears, rakes, spindles, looms, and pump drills. Bows and arrows, spears were used for hunting. Rakes were used for planting. Spindles/looms were used for weaving and pump drills were used to make holes, beads, or shells.

7 GOVERMENT The pueblos government was a republican. The head master of Cacique was a chief priest. The priests were very involved with the government and did a lot for the pueblo people. Another part of the pueblos government is God deity’s which was recognized as supreme civil ruler. The Gods deity's were laws that were imterpertated by authorities such as priests and ministers. Most of the Pueblo government consist of only men.
