Does the mat include locking pins and tool set? - Locking Wrench, Positioning Bar, Extractor, mud caps, pin hole plugs or alignment tool etc… Answer – Yes we provide the following tool sets for our clients.

Spartan Mat’s custom thermal plastic butyl rubber seals have recently been successfully tested by the U.S. Military.

Rugged, Reusable and 100% Recyclable? Answer – Yes our mats are 100% recyclable.
Conforms to Uneven Terrain? Answer – Yes our mats have been field tested with exceptional results in soil conditions as low as a CBR of 2 to a CBR of greater than 8.
Friction Enhancement? Answer – Yes our mats provide a two sided tread surface. One side being a pedestrian surface and the other side being a more rugged surface designed for heavy duty tracked/tire vehicles.

Proprietary stainless steel connector system bolts have a mechanical strength exceeding 90,000lbs tensile strength & 110,000lbs sheer strength. Each connector bolt is capable of 140,000lbs of sheer strength. These are 5/8" diameter stainless steel bolts with a nitrate coating to lubricate connection system. At less than 430lbs (190Kg), ADVANCE MAT® is lighter, easier and safer to transport and install than alternative mat/trackway systems while maintaining exceptional unmatched performance.
ADVANCE MAT® offers multi directional grip and a two sided tread surface making it ideal for wheeled and tracked vehicles as well as pedestrians. Importantly, being manufactured with low value High Density Molecular Polyethylene the ADVANCE MAT® eliminates the risk of theft inherent to high scrap value of uninsurable aluminum mats, therefore reducing security cost and theft losses.
Each ADVANCE MAT® incorporates both a low profile “Pedestrian and Tracked Vehicle” design to one surface providing traction and slip resistance to personnel in the field as well as a much more rugged profile providing greater traction for wheeled vehicles when required. The patterns have been designed to be easily cleaned and to function well with mud, sand, dirt, and other common on-site substances such as oil and grease. This unique twin traction design provides good traction for all users including pedestrians, vehicles, and all types of rolling equipment, including dozers and other tracked vehicles. Traction is provided in all directions.

7. MAT DESIGN & MATERIAL COMPOSITION
ADVANCE MAT® is manufactured from the highest quality virgin Composite Materials, with special proprietary fillers and additives to accommodate thermal expansion, incorporate UV resistance, add anti-static properties and provide tremendous strength rigidity and impact resistance. The mats are 100% recyclable at end of life. ADVANCE MAT® incorporates a unique weight-saving ribbed interior structure that provides tremendous weight-bearing capacity, while allowing for sections to be easily handled by a standard forklift. ADVANCE MAT® has been designed for efficient loading into standard ISO proprietary lifting system. Each mat is fully sealed to prevent dirt and debris from penetrating the internal ribbed interior structure.
LOAD CAPACITY
ADVANCE MAT® has a significant load capacity of over 850psi (5800 kPa), several times greater then most all necessary maximum loads. It will operate effectively over a wide range of ground conditions where its flexibility, toughness and compressive strength will provide the necessary support to the full range of construction vehicles and plant.

CLEANING
ADVANCE MAT® may be cleaned with a standard industrial grade pressure washer, brushes, and ordinary cleaning solutions. ADVANCE MAT® are easy to maintain and clean, and the HDPE material will not absorb water or other contaminants.

9. CONNECTION SYSTEM
ADVANCE MAT® incorporate flanges on both sides that allow panels to be simply connected in all directions using a proprietary connection system that consists of a self-aligning threaded locking mechanism. Flanges are solid Composite Material for added durability. Flanges are a heavy radius design, providing additional strength and shear resistance.
An ultra-secure connection between panels is achieved through a unique connection system. All lock components are made from nitrate coated stainless steel that will not rust, break or corrode.
The overlapping connection system also helps prevents mud and water ingress between panels. Spartan Mat also offers an additional form fitted thermal plastic butyl rubber seal that can be fully integrated between two mat connecting flanges sealing the connection points of the mats providing a leak proof barrier against spills or contaminates seeping through the mat connection points. Spartan Mat’s custom seals have been successfully tested by the U.S. Military.

Spartan Mat set out to create a mat connection system with the following goals in mind based on our extensive knowledge of the leading competitors current mat connection systems:
Create a more simplified system using only heavy duty nitrate coated stainless steel components providing the highest sheer strength on the market.
Create a “captive” reversible connector system where 100% of the locking hardware components can travel attached to the mat at all times eliminating risk of lost or broken locking pin components.
Proprietary “Floating Connector” can be easily maintained in the field throughout the entire life span of the mat and offers excellent connect-ability over all types of soil conditions and rugged uneven terrain.
Lowest industry cost to replace any locking bolt if accidently lost.
