Our Aims Weekly phone contact Monthly meetings with our clients
We provide Housing related support and our aim to ensure that our floating support service is supplied to vulnerable people as quickly and fairly as possible. Our support includes a tailored package designed for the clients support need Weekly phone contact Monthly meetings with our clients Multi agency working Applying for accommodation via social or private landlords Securing and maintaining a tenancy Transitioning to a new tenancy Help Finding suitable accommodation Managing housing-related issues such as homelessness, evictions and re-settlement Moving on from supported accommodation Signposting and accessing other services Managing finances (budgeting and benefits) Promoting dignity and respect Enabling self confidence and self belief Explain how important enabling is and self confidence

Who are our clients? In west Kent we have over 1189 Generic and YP clients. 504 of those are in West Kent! Employed/Unemployed Suffering Mental Health Young people 16-25years Alcoholics Substance Misuse Offenders being released from prison Sex offenders Hoarders Homeless/Sofa surfers Families on child protection plans/ Child in need and Early help people with physical disabilities and or learning disabilities people with mental health needs. Low level Domestic abuse

Did you Know? We have weekly drop ins in East Kent: Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Swale, Folkestone & Hythe, and Thanet West Kent: Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling, and Tunbridge Wells -West Kent 157 clients attend our surgeries -We have 41 project workers -We have over 30 supported accommodations in Kent -We have a monthly Newsletter just for our clients Who attends a drop in?

What we are unable to offer:
Personal or health care, domiciliary, home care and shopping. Therapeutic/ intensive behaviour management, rehabilitation and specialist counselling. Help with transport/ mobility. Training courses. Crèche facilities. Handyperson services such as home adaptations, maintenance, gardening, decorating. Accompanying service users on a frequent basis to hospital/ doctors/ other specialist appointments.

Quiz How many homeless are there in West kent?
Shelter says its research shows 2,634 people in the county are either sleeping rough, have no home, or are in emergency accommodation How many are in Dartford? Data collated in November 2017 shows, in Dartford there are nine rough sleepers and 642 total homeless people. Approx. what percentage of our clients are suffering with mental health? Over 50% of our clients are suffering Mental Health!!
