The Feedback Orientation Scale (FOS) Linderbaum & Levy, as cited in Gregory, J.B. & Levy, P.E. (2012). Employee feedback orientation: implications for effective coaching relationships. Coaching: An International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice. 5(2), doi: 10/1080/ Linderbaum and Levy developed a 20-item Feedback Orientation Survey (FOS) to gauge the strength of an individual’s feedback orientation – i.e., receptivity to feedback.
