Thanks for watching the video. Past 18 years in recruitment as a service provider and as a line manager – 56,000 CVs Been responsible for placing just under 1000 people in to jobs It is our job as a recruitment partner to find not just the good talent, but the great talent and make that decision before presenting them to hiring firms. Since 60% of our roles are sales focused, I wanted to share how I have been successful in this career by looking outside of the CV and in to the psychology of a great sales person to make the choice between good and great. First, can anyone share any of their own wisdom on this subject?

Characteristics Promoting Analysing Supporting Controlling
Costas is my husband and I site him as he came to Greece 18 years ago with just a discman and a Nokia mobile phone. He had limited English language but after some coaxing from me and teaching him what a C drive was, he has climbed an inspirational career as a sales professional in the same company for the past 15 years. He has been reporting to the MD for the past 5 years and leads a sales floor of 50 Full time employees and has spent the last 10 years recruiting grade a talent who have increased revenue year on year by 40%. 75% of the time he interviews. He recruits entry level sales people through to managers and uses the same set of questions that pry in to their optimistic psyche. I get a lot of my inspiration from him so I will have to give him credit for this one! But I love his questions and he didn’t mind me sharing them with you. Good sales people associate themselves with other positive / optimistic people
