Turas Appraisal Turas Learn Turas Trainee Programme Management Turas Portfolio Turas People Turas is a digital platform that hosts many Turas applications Turas Appraisal replaced e-KSF on 2nd April 2018

3 Turas Appraisal Developed:- As a result of e-KSF contract 31/03/2018
To include feedback from focus groups 2014 By NHS Education for Scotland Digital Team Using Agile Methodology in 2 week “sprints” Continuously and new features will be added from planned developments and user experience feedback.

4 What Changed? e-KSF was decommissioned on 31st March 2018
Turas Appraisal has been live from 2nd April 2018 KSF PDP&R information on e-KSF information has now transferred to the staff members page on Turas Appraisal Turas Appraisal will be simpler to access and use Turas Appraisal will work on a variety of browsers and portable/mobile devices Non-NHS employees can also engage with Turas – strengthening relationships within HSCP teams

5 What didn’t change? KSF Process
AFC staff will still have regular KSF Reviews, at least once every 12 months Will still have a Personal Development Plan Will still have access to an online recording tool

6 Accessing Turas Appraisal
If you had input your address to e-KSF prior to 31st January 2018 you would have been sent an to the address you used on 2nd April 2018 If you had no address in e-KSF you will need to request your user name and password from the Learning and Education Helpdesk on Please include your payroll number in the . You can also call the helpdesk on and choose option 3 again you will need your payroll number

11 Assigning/replacing post outlines:-
Although managers can assign a post outline to a member of staff at the moment there isn’t a post outline library on Turas Appraisal for managers to view. To view an excel list of all post outlines available to GGC and the dimensions and levels included in them please see the Post Outline section on our Turas Appraisal pages on HR Connect. There is also instructions on this page on how to assign the outlines and details of the wording for each dimension in the simplified language that was agreed in 2014.

12 Reviewer page Viewing current appraisal. Once an appraisal is confirmed and agreed it becomes a previous appraisal and it can be viewed from here too

16 Once Learning Activity had been accepted then the status can be changed once the activity had been undertaken etc

18 Once the objectives have been accepted the status can be updated to completed etc

21 Reporting Compliance reports are available monthly via MicroStrategy
Target remains at least 80% of reviews must be recorded and signed off on Turas Appraisal This leave 20% allowance for those on long term leave, secondments and new starts etc
