The voice of doctoral students The organization to contact when doctoral students need someone to speak up for them or when someone wants to know something about Doctoral Students Represents doctoral students in University administration through nominated student representatives

Do I need to be a Student Union member?
The DSS equally represents all doctoral students– no sign-up or membership is required. However, joining the Student Union supports our work and offers many benefits, e.g. legal advice, help from specialists in Academic or International Affairs, events, news, info sessions 55 € / year, 27.5 € / semester

News Doctoral Students After-Introduction Evening on Friday 16.3. All new and old doctoral students are welcomed to the After-Introduction Evening on at to Oulun Tetra, Pakkahuoneenkatu 28, after this course. We will have refreshments and food, and you can get to know your fellow doctoral students in a relaxed atmosphere!

PhD TANK. Productivity Boost
Fellow PhD student Victor Pavlov has been organizing an event, where PhD students can gather together on Fridays to a same location (lecture hall or conference room) to work on your own PhD while utilizing good working techniques with others.
