2. Larynx, extends from tip of epiglottis C3, to lower edge of cricoid cartilage C6.
It is formed of cartilaginous framework, connected by ligaments and muscles, and lined by mucous membrane.

Below vocal folds: by Recurrent laryngeal nerve.
