3 Critical Control 1 ALL POTENTIAL HARMFUL ENERGY SOURCES REQUIRING ISOLATION AND APPROPRIATE ISOLATION METHODS ARE IDENTIFIED BY COMPETENT PERSONS

4 Critical Control 2 ISOLATION (LOTO) TRAINING AND COMPETENCY SYSTEM IN PLACE

5 Critical Control 3 ISOLATION PROCEDURES ARE SPECIFIC TO THE NEEDS OF THE WORKSITE, AS DETERMINED BY THE RISK ASSESSMENT

6 Critical Control 4 ROLES ARE APPOINTED – AUTHORISED ISOLATOR, PERMIT ISSUER AND PERMIT HOLDER

7 Critical Control 5 UNLESS TESTED FOR DEAD, ALL WIRES AND EQUIPMENT ARE CONSIDERED AND TREATED AS LIVE
