Best Practices Seasonal fruit provided once in a week.
LPG in 92 % schools. Bank Account of almost all Cook-cum-Helpers Rs Cr provided from State resources for DBC LPG connections in schools. 1.17 lakh CCH out of 1.25 lakh trained. All registered Madarsas provided Mid-Day-Meal since December 2011. Health, Hygiene and Safety Guidelines issued. Dovetailing of Untied funds of Gram Panchayat etc. for construction of kitchen cum stores.

Issues from Appraisal of AWP&B 2017-18
Two months delay in the release of funds. Less coverage against enrolment. (69% Pry and 70% U.Pry) Payment of honorarium made in Cash/Cheque in-spite of bank account of all Cook-cum-helpers. 23 Sample out of 62 found below norms. Delay in the construction of sanctioned kitchen-cum-stores. Refund of Central Assistance for kitchen-cum-stores sanctioned in excess actual number of schools. District Level Committee meeting held in 8 districts only out of 33 districts. Less Monthly entries in the MDM-MIS portal (55% to 94%). Multi-tap facility in 27% schools only. Mismatch in the data in AWP&B and MIS.
