WORKS CITED These are the general pieces of information that MLA suggests including in each Works Cited entry. The elements should be listed in the following order: Author. Title of source. Title of container, Other contributors, Version, Number, Publisher, Publication date, Location.

Example Let’s say you wanted to cite a line from your Pattern’s textbook on pg. 416. Quote: “Women perceive such responses as belittling and unsupportive” (Tannen 416). Author.
