2. About The A-Maze-Ing Mazes company
This company(this is not a real thing) has the members Elsie Umbel, Alice Kim, and Owen Vaira. This time, we are creating a maze which is based off the wonders of the underwater world.

3. Why We Chose The “Under The Sea” Themed Maze
Why we chose under the sea themed maze…
Owen: I thought it was a nice idea that shows how beautiful the sea really is and how it shows why we should not pollute the ocean.
Elsie: We chose to do an under the sea themed maze because it really gave you a picture of the ocean below and beyond what we see of it, while making a journey into an amusement park fun and enjoyable (Even if you get lost. hehehe).
Alice: I thought it was a nice idea and I also liked the idea of making the maze like an aquarium, or like you’re actually underwater.

4. The “Under The Sea” Maze Idea
Our idea is to make our theme for the maze an underwater theme. To create a maze which will give you the feeling that you are underwater--yet breathing. SO, the walls will be see-through, so you can look and see some sea animals/creatures. You will also see holes covered with glass showing an underwater world. For the circle that we need to add in the middle, we built a cylinder with a surface having the requirements for the circle. The cylinder will be made out of a hard glass that is NOT easily broken, and we will fill it with water that connects to the underground aquarium. This will give you a feeling that you are under the sea.

Here are the requirements for the maze that we created:
Our perimeter is exactly 640 meters
Our Area is 22,000 m2
Our maze includes sculptures with the required angles
The maze includes polygons also in statues throughout the maze
The maze includes a Large cylinder in the center with a surface that has a circumference of 72 meters
The maze has a small circular statue and base with a diameter of 12 meters
The maze includes a bridge into and out of the maze and 2 solution paths
The maze includes over 3 dead end paths
The maze is creative
Our maze includes a scale of 1 half inch square or one unit =4 meters

10. Did We Enjoy Making This Project?
Alice: I enjoyed making this project. It was interesting, and I think that the “under the sea” idea was cool, since we made the maze to make you feel like you’re actually ‘under the sea’.
Elsie: This project was so much fun! We got to put our effort into everything and I feel it turned out great!
Owen: I liked this project because it showed how beautiful the ocean is and that we should protect the oceans.
