How much time each day would you say you spend on a social media site? In your own personal experience, have you ever seen something on a social media site that wasn’t true or damaging to someone’s character? Give an example.

When can social media impact your opportunities or freedoms? At what age do you feel young adults can handle social media? Why this particular age?

9 Develop Your Own Social Media Contract
What advice would you give a person just creating their first social media accounts? What would they need to know/understand to ensure they used it properly? Create a contract that would provide guidelines for ensuring smart and safe use for tweens. Your contract should have at least 8 key points that would instruct him/her on safe use. Like any other contract, provide a place for the signature of both the student and the parent. On the back of your “contract,” provide a justification for your choice of guidelines.
