5. Different Signs (Addition)

-4+5=1
Keep the sign of the integer with a greater absolute value
Subtract integers

6. Either (Subtraction) 4-(+7)=4+(-7)=-3 -5-(-4)=-5+4=-1
Keep the sign of the integer with a greater absolute value
Two consecutive negative signs become positive
Then add or subtract
