“Cuadros de mi familia”

2. 1a. Project:
Students will use their chromebooks in class and create a Google Slide presentation of their family portraits to describe what they like to do and what a family member likes to do by using phrases:
Me gusta (I like) comer (verb to eat)
A mi mamá (< family member)+ Ana (< family member’s name) le gusta (he/she likes) bailar (< verb to dance)
A mi family les gusta (They like) viajar (verb to travel)

B. Be sure to include the following portraits in your slides:
1st : Your family members (labeled in Spanish)
2nd: I like to-----> Me gusta
3rd: My family member likes to------>A mi______ (family member in Spanish) le gusta (He/ she likes to...)
4th: They like to (Cultural portrait)-----> Example: A family tradition, party, holiday, vacation, festivale.

4. 2. Materials for the project:
Family photos from home (optional)
Chromebooks/ google slides or
Art supplies

5. Option A: Upload photos to your drive:
If you already have family photos in your computer you can log onto your school account and upload them onto your drive. *This part of the project has to be done at home!

Go to google.com and sign into your school google account to access your drive. c. a. b.
2. Click “New” and “File upload”.
*This will open your “File explorer”
3. Click on the “picture” tab and choose all the pictures you will like to use for your project. After clicking “Open” they will upload to your drive.

7. Option B: Bring copies of photos:
If you do not have a computer, please bring in a COPY of the photos (5 photos max) you would like to use. In an envelop or ziplock bag please label them with your name, class and student account name. Then I can scan them and share them with you through google drive.

8. Option C: Using google images:
You can insert google images (ClipArt) and word art using your chromebook instead of real photos for this project as well. Next class I will demonstrate how to do this.

Students will use google slides through their school account.
