2 Summary of Proposed Increase
Request came from UT System for a 5 year tuition and fee proposal Recommended increase: 5% starting academic year 2019 Additional 4% in 2020 and 2021 No additional increases in 2022 and 2023

3 Why an increase? Sustain and enhance the Office of Career Development (OCD) Launched three years ago from non-recurrent funds. The OCD has become a valuable resource to graduate students across nearly all programs. Career Development support for graduate students is also a crucial component in training grants.

Comprehensive services to assist students identify career paths Connects students with alumni and/or community partners Weekly coaching sessions Monthly workshops Bi-annual multi-career focused events Community-based Career advisory council

7 Summary Increase of 5% in academic year 2019 followed by an additional 4% increase in 2020 and 2021; no additional increases in 2022 and 2023 The Office of Career Development will not only continue to be a valuable resource for all graduate students, but has plans to develop new initiatives as well. Even with the proposed increases, UT Health San Antonio continues to be low cost compared to other UT Health institutions.
