Natural Science is generally divided into 3 branches:
Physical Science
(Chemistry and Physics)
Earth and Space Science
(Geology and Astronomy)

(Biology and Botany)

The observable universe is about 700 million billion billion meters in diameter

7. Matter and Change The building block of all matter is the atom
All matter has volume and mass.
All matter on Earth usually takes the form of a solid, liquid, or gas.

8. Forces and Motion Forces cause changes in motion.
If you push on a stationary object it moves.
If you push on a moving object, you change the object’s motion.

9. Energy Energy exists in many forms. Energy exists in matter itself.
Energy can be transferred but it can never be destroyed.

Science is both a process and a body of knowledge.
Science is based in discovery.
Scientific knowledge can change especially with advances in technology.
