2 Infectious (communicable) diseases are caused by pathogenic microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi; the diseases can be spread, directly or indirectly, from one person to another. Zoonotic diseases are infectious diseases of animals that can cause disease when transmitted to humans. What’s the difference between a communicable disease and a non-communicable disease? Can you give examples? Non communicable disease is a medical condition that cannot be transmitted from person to person. Examples include; Heart disease Arthritis Diabetes Some cancers
