Pratt Bookmobile
My name is Ellen MacGeorge, AKA ”Ms. Mac.”
I teach Library & Computer Lab. I have a Master’s Degree from Towson University in Integrated Technology & Library Sciences. This is my third year at FLT and I am looking forward to working with you for a great year!!
This year the Enoch Pratt Library Bookmobile will come to our school once a week. Students will have the opportunity to check out books each week. To be able to check out books, students will need a Library card. If your student does not have a card or their card has been misplaced, please fill out Library card form and return it. We will need students to have their library card on check out day, please consider leaving one of the 2 cards at school. I am happy to hold on to them.
I am also looking for parent volunteers who can assist in taking the students to the parking lot for book selection, please let me know if you can volunteer.
To keep books from getting lost, I highly recommend they get kept in cubbies at school or in backpacks.

GRADING POLICY
The grading policy of Baltimore City Schools says students who are absent, are to receive a 0 grade for the class they missed, even if it is an excused absence or lateness. If you student misses or is late for class they have the opportunity to make up the work they missed. Students will be offered make up work at the next class. All work MUST be turned in before the end of the quarter to receive credit, but sooner is always better and appreciated.

We will be leaning how to type correctly and accurately this year in the computer lab. Every week the fastest, most accurate student in each class (grades 2-5) will have their name announced on the announcements.

Every month your student will bring home a Scholastic Book Flyer. If you would like to place an order, please go on line to Our class code is______________ or you can send the exact amount of money in an envelope or baggie with your order form from the flyer. Please have your student bring the envelope to the Library to ensure it is received. If you include your address or phone number for texting, I will send you a confirmation that it was received.
